- Visit the jamb CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
- Navigate to ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
- Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
- If on mobile, enable desktop site view by selecting the three-dotted menu (⋮) usually on the top right side of your screen. Then select ‘Desktop site’.
- The option bar ‘Admission Status’ will automatically pop out. Click on it. You can also click on Access my CAPS’ for admission status and other CAPS-related services.
- This process will show you whether you’ve been offered admission to YSU once the university has uploaded its admission list to the JAMB system.

Yobe State University (YSU) is located in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, Nigeria. It was established in 2006 under the Yobe State law, during the tenure of Alhaji Bukar Abba Ibrahim, who was the Executive Governor of Yobe State from 1999 to 2007.
