How to Check Name on FUTIA Admission List
FUTIA aspirants can check their admission through two (2) procedures. The first procedure is via the JAMB CAPS portal, while the second procedure is on the school’s admission portal.
Check Admission Status Via the JAMB Portal
Candidates can check their admission status via JAMB CAPS portal by following the instructions below:
- Visit the jamb CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
- Navigate to ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
- Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
- If on mobile, enable desktop site view by selecting the three-dotted menu (⋮) usually on the top right side of your screen. Then select ‘Desktop site’.
- The option bar ‘Admission Status’ will automatically pop out. Click on it. You can also click on Access my CAPS’ for admission status and other CAPS-related services.
- This process will show you whether you’ve been offered admission to FUTIA once the university has uploaded its admission list to the JAMB system.

About FUTIA
The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), was established by the Nigerian government in June 2021, as one of two new universities of technology, with the other located in Jigawa State.
