- Visit the jamb CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- If on mobile, enable desktop site view by selecting the three-dotted menu (⋮) usually on the top right side of your screen. Then select ‘Desktop site’.
- Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
- If you have forgotten your password, on the login page, click on the password reset button. Afterwards, enter your email address in the appropriate column and click on the Password Reset Button. You will receive an email, click on the link in the email and proceed to rest your password.
- Navigate to ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
- Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
- The option bar ‘Admission Status’ will automatically pop out. Click on it.
- Please note that this process applies to checking your admission status by checking the admission status tab on the left menu bar. Always refer to official JAMB and university websites for the up-to-date information and procedures.

About FUGASHUA
Federal University Gashua (FUGASHUA) is located in Yobe State, in the northeastern region of Nigeria. Founded in 2013 under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, the university was part of a government initiative to provide equitable educational opportunities across all states.
Its mission is to address the immediate needs of society through learning and research, offering everyone the chance to gain valuable knowledge.
On February 18, 2013, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahaman was appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor, with Sulu Dauda serving as the inaugural Registrar. The university began its academic journey in June 2015 by matriculating 240 pioneer students. Today, Professor Maimuna Waziri leads the institution as the current Vice-Chancellor, with Dr. Mohammed Attai Yakubu and Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Jajere serving as the Deputy Vice-Chancellors for Academics and Administration, respectively. The Registrar is Dr. Abubakar Mamuda, and the University Librarian is Dr. Adam Gambo Saleh.
