It’s important to note that DSUST, traditionally releases its admission list in several batches. If you don’t find your name in the initial release, we encourage you to remain optimistic and continue checking. Your name may appear in a subsequent batch.

How to Check Name on DSUST Admission List

DSUST aspirants can check their admission status via two ways (2). The first one can be either through the JAMB’s Portal, or via the school’s official website.

Check Admission Status Via the JAMB’s Portal

Candidates can check their admission status via JAMB CAPS portal by following the instructions below:

  • Visit the jamb CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
  • Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
  • Navigate to ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
  • Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
  • If on mobile, enable desktop site view by selecting the three-dotted menu (⋮) usually on the top right side of your screen. Then select ‘Desktop site’.
  • The option bar ‘Admission Status’ will automatically pop out. Click on it. You can also click on Access my CAPS’ for admission status and other CAPS-related services.
  • This process will show you whether you’ve been offered admission to DSUST once the university has uploaded its admission list to the JAMB system.

Possible Scenarios:

  • Case 1: If you see “CONGRATULATIONS,” it means you’ve been offered admission! You can either accept or reject it and wait for further instructions.
  • Case 2: If the status says “Admission in Progress,” be patient; your status might likely change in a few days or weeks. Just keep checking regularly.
  • Case 3: If it says “NOT ADMITTED,” don’t lose hope! There are usually subsequent lists, and you might still get lucky.

About DSUST

The Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, has a rich history that traces back to its origins as a College of Agriculture.

In a significant development, it was upgraded to a Polytechnic on January 1, 2002, during the tenure of former Governor James Ibori.

Fast forward to January 2021, Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa unveiled a plan to further elevate the institution into a full-fledged university. Along with two other polytechnics, Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, was set to become a University of Science and Technology.

The proposal took formal shape on January 28, 2021, when the Delta State House of Assembly held the first reading of the bills for these conversions.

Following a review by the House Committee on Education, the bills were passed into law by February 2021.

Governor Okowa highlighted the importance of expanding technical education opportunities, allowing students to transition seamlessly from technical colleges to polytechnics and ultimately to universities, emphasizing the state’s commitment to advancing science and technology education.

        have not been given admission up till now!!.. now message was sent and no mails too, I came from lagos on the day of screening and i was told to it’s not goings yo take long, this is December already and am still at home

  1. My cousin bought the admission form and filled for computer science, he’s yet to be admitted.
