Akwa-Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot-Osurua, Akwa-Ibom State (Akwa Poly) has released its admission list for the 2024/2025 academic year.

This is to inform all candidates whose names appear below that they have been admitted successfully via the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) CAPS portal.

Candidates can check their admission status via JAMB CAPS portal by following the instructions below:

  • Visit the jamb CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
  • Log in using your JAMB profile credentials.
  • Navigate to ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
  • Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
  • If on mobile, enable desktop site view by selecting the three-dotted menu (⋮) usually on the top right side of your screen. Then select ‘Desktop site’.
  • The option bar ‘Admission Status’ will automatically pop out. Click on it. You can also click on Access my CAPS’ for admission status and other CAPS-related services.
  • This process will show you whether you’ve been offered admission to Dominion University once the university has uploaded its admission list to the JAMB system.

Possible Scenarios:

  • Case 1: If you see “CONGRATULATIONS,” it means you’ve been offered admission! You can either accept or reject it and wait for further instructions.
  • Case 2: If the status says “Admission in Progress,” be patient; your status might likely change in a few days or weeks. Just keep checking regularly.
  • Case 3: If it says “NOT ADMITTED,” don’t lose hope! There are usually subsequent lists, and you might still get lucky.

NOTE: If your status reads NOT YET ADMITTED, log on to the JAMB official website to verify if your O’level results has been uploaded in the JAMB portal, as failure of this, could affect your admission JAMB status:

About Akwa Poly

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, located in Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, was established in 1991 by the Akwa Ibom State Government following the state’s creation from Cross River State in 1987.
